Norman Reinhardt
American tenor Norman Reinhardt is celebrated as one of the world’s leading operatic artists. Recent role debuts include Don José in Carmen with Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theater in collaboration with Staatsoper Hamburg, Tamino in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at ENO, and Pollione in Bellini’s Norma at Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg and Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin at Northern Ireland Opera, which was met with both critical and public acclaim. Other notable engagments include Staatsoper Berlin, Salzburg Festival, Festspiele Baden-Baden, Les Arts Valencia, Oper Leipzig, Theater an der Wien, San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera and the Metropolitan Opera.
Beyond his extensive performance career, Norman serves as Artist in Residence at Northwestern University during the 2024-25 season and is the Co-Founder and Music Director of Living Opera, a multimedia initiative dedicated to empowering and educating artists. Originally from Hickory, North Carolina, Norman holds a bachelor’s degree from Asbury College and pursued graduate studies at the University of Kentucky. He completed his training at the prestigious Houston Grand Opera Young Artist Studio.
